This is a newly acquired technology at the clinic. We are the first orthopaedic clinic in India to be allowed to do our own ultrasound. It is use of well-known ultrasound examination, for joints, by the doctor himself. It is beneficial to the patient in the following ways:

• The facility is available right in the clinic, and ultrasound examination can be done as a part of clinical examination. The need for MRI is avoided in vast majority of patients.
• We can monitor progress of an operated case by doing frequent ultrasounds.
• We can give ultrasound-guided injections.
