Physical Fitness

  • Exercise should be a part of everyday regime.
  • Stretching muscles after and before exercise will help to guard against aches and pains and will reduce the chances of an injury.
  • Use the stairs instead of the lift. It is much healthier.
  • In a sedentary job, take your breaks and have a brisk, short walk.
  • Learn to eat right. Cut out unhealthy snacks and replace them with fruits and vegetables.
  • Keeping your body hydrated is very important. Drinking water every couple of hours is beneficial in keeping your body systems running smoothly.
  • Let your body rest. When you’re giving your body a run for its money with varied physical activities, you also need to let it recover and renew by getting a sufficient amount of rest.
  • Self-Discipline-To reach one’s goals a person must be disciplined! Give yourself positive affirmations by saying ‘I’m worth it!’ I need to be healthy ‘I’m determined’
  • Get a check-up. To stay fit in the long run, you should get regular check-ups. Visit the doctor regularly.
  • Develop the right attitude. Being fit is a marathon, not a sprint, and it requires making changes to your entire lifestyle.
