A rare knee problem

  • Pre Operation

    Intra Operation

    Post Operation

This 27 year old had taken steroids a few years earlier. She developed osteonecrosis of the lateral femoral condyle and presented with pain. There was one degree valgus knee. It was decided to do cartilage debridement and correction of valgus of the knee. Intra-op, there was a 3 cm by 2 cm lesion of OCD on the lateral condyle. The same was debrided. Distal femoral corrective osteotomy was done. We hope the lesion to heal with time. This is a rare condition.
